- - Create a skeleton slideshow presentation for lecture day (50 minutes)o First 3 minutes clicker questions & introduction
o Next 5 minutes lecture
o Next 5 minutes think-pair-share
o Next 10 minutes group work
o Next 25 minutes groups presents conclusions o Last 2 minutes concluding clicker questions - - Find 3-5 pre-class readings that cover the relevant basic material I want them to know before my lecture

- - Any issues with pre-class readings/quiz will be brought up and revised
- - Revised pre-class readings/quiz will be submitted to Dr. Balcom as a final
draft
- - Last minute touch-ups to presentation
o Note: nothing will be changed after this date - - Approved pre-class quiz will be posted to elms after class
Questions for Balcom- - Is it okay if I have a couple questions set up as short answer?
o I will give a rubric for those questions
o I want to highlight differences b/w species:

Behavior - - I would like to post additional readings (not required) after class that go in to more detail about things I brought up in class
